The 9km drive up the Sani Pass is a 4×4 adventure drive along a rough road connecting Kwa Zulu Natal with Lesotho in the Drakensburg Mountains. The day we did it the weather was appalling! The reward for our endeavours was a cool beer in the bar of the Highest Pub in Africa, at the strategically placed Sani Top Chalets.

Some adventurers take a stroll through the Northern Drakensberg, and later head out on a serious 3 day hike from Mweni to the Senqu River in Lesotho. For people who haven’t been to the Ukhahlamba Drakenberg.
